Django Unchained

Christoph Waltz stars as bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz, who captures his dead-or-alive fugitives after he has, pragmatically, made them all dead. Dr. Schultz frees slave Django Freeman ( Jamie Foxx ) so that Django may help Schultz track down three men only Django can identify positively. After their capture, Django is invited to partner with Schulz in the bounty hunter business.

Django learns quickly and becomes a formidable opponent. Since this is the movies, superhero is more apt.

Django’s lost love, the German-speaking slave Brünhilde, is enslaved in Mississippi, at the most horrific plantation in the South.

Django and Dr. Schultz must muster the courage to travel there and face Candie ( Leonardo di Caprio), the depraved plantation owner who owns Brünhilde, and buy her freedom.
This is Quentin Tarentino’s latest film. The bullets and the buckets of blood fly in what may be seen as a kind of revenge-fantasy sequel to Tarentino’s previous film Inglourious Basterds, only in this film the evil Nazis are replaced by the inhuman slave-owners.
An excellent film that often surprises with its camera-work and plot twists.
Be aware that the brutality is intense….
